Moving teacher professional development from traditional delivery to online is an effective and efficient use of technology. Not only do teachers experience online learning as a student, they are better equipped to use it in their own teaching as well. The best way to learn how to teach an online course is to take one first! Hybrid or blended courses allow for both online and face-to-face meetings within a single course and may alleviate some trepidation on the part of new users.
