Welcome to this KYP20 Blog. First, a few words about P20. P20 is a national movement in public and higher education. The “P” stands for “primary” while “20″ represents grades beyond 12 and up to the age of 20, the college years. Several states implement a P-16 or K-20 program, but Kentucky is committed to raising the bar in all sectors of public education. This requires a huge investment in research, resources and collaboration utilizing our most respected and experienced leaders in education, as well as business and community members across the state.

P-16 councils were first established in the 1990′s to convene state leaders representing early learning. Find out which states are leading innovation in education today! Visit the site map at University of Kentucky’s P20 Innovation Lab.
