Dr. Henry is an Assistant Professor of Early Adolescent Literacy and Faculty co-Director of the P20 College & Career Readiness Lab. She joined the faculty at UK in 2007.
Dr. Henry holds a PhD in Educational Psychology with emphases in Cognition & Instruction and Literacy & Technology from the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Henry's research interests include 21st century literacy skills, technology integration, issues related to the digital divide, and dropout prevention across all grade levels. Dr. Henry is President of the Lincoln Heritage Reading Council and Board Member of the Kentucky Reading Association. She has served on the ReadWriteThink.org Advisory Board for the International Reading Association since 2003.
